Hello! I’m Kyla.
Growing up in the city of Richmond, I was always exploring, trying new restaurants, and connecting with an array of communities of all diverse individuals. This sparked my passion for personal style and love for new experiences, driving me to continuously look for opportunity and a new adventure everywhere I go. I am an ambitious, detail-oriented person with a love for fashion, travel, the beach, fitness, and food.
Throughout my time at VCU, I have gained experience in social media management, visual merchandising, management leadership, creative styling, and marketing that has enhanced my dream of working directly in the creative side of the fashion industry. I look forward to growing as an individual within my career after graduation and embracing new opportunities that come my way.

One word used to describe me would be balanced. I love the hustle and bustle of New York and all things city lifestyle. However, I also consistently remind myself to slow down and focus on being present in bettering myself. This is where my love for the beach and healthy living comes in. Growing up, the beach was my “reset” place where I always felt at peace and connected to nature. Now, I strive to balance between both lifestyles. I focus my days on putting my best foot forward and remaining detail-oriented in everything I do. However, I make sure to connect back with myself and reflect after the work is done. At the end of the day, you can find me reading a book, drinking tea, and practicing yoga.
